XBOX's New Dashboard Is A Great Upgrade

I got the new XBOX Dashboard yesterday and it really was an improvement over the old one.  Basically, it is an upgrade of the system interface for the XBOX 360 that also adds a few new featues.  The big thing in my household is that you can now stream Netflix movies to your television, although the Sony/Paramount ones are currently blocked (presumably, due to Sony being a competitor with the Playstation 3.)  They have some fairly recent movies and television series available.  Our family watched Ratattoule last night on it.  It works very well and is far superior to having to watch a movie on the computer screen.

It also adds a new avatar feature.  It is okay, but with some more options, it will be better.  There will eventually be games/updates to existing games that will support these avatars so that your avatar is actually featured within the game.  The new interface is more logical and responsive.  It also now gives the option to copy a game to the hard drive to make it load faster and quieter.  All in all, I have to say that it is a great step and can't wait to see this thing live up to it's potential.
