Many businesses overlook the impact that outsourcing/replacing knowledge will have on their customers. There are many businesses I refuse to deal with due to outsourcing call centers or inept employees. You may not be able to blame Circuit City's bankruptcy entirely on their decision to fire their experienced workforce and replace them with cheap labor, but there does seem to be a correlation:
