Name the two biggest U.S. breweries. I bet you can't. Anheuser-Busch was sold to the Belgians, not long ago, but somewhere I missed that Canada's Molson bought Coors and Miller was acquired by South African Breweries. That leaves the two biggest U.S. breweries as Boston Brewing, which makes Sam Adams, and Yuengling of Pottsville. I know my father-in-law avoids Budweiser due to the foreign ownership, but unfortunately, he's been drinking Canadian beer instead, unbeknownst to him.
It's quickly getting to the point that the U.S. is going to be a stock market for other countries to invest in, and we will have little or no stake in our own futures. It's really scary, and only getting worse with every government bailout of CEOs that knowingly drive their companies into the dirt, but get handsomely compensated for it, and in the case of Fannie and Freddie, they do so at the taxpayer's expense. The dollar is made weaker, driving costs up for for the average joe, due to these ridiculous bailouts and insane spending by our government. The only solution is to vote against the incumbent at every opportunity. We shouldn't expose ourselves to crooked politicians, and the longer they've been in office, the better chance that they've got their hands out to lobbyists and crooked corporations. Please vote, and always vote for change.
